With a tradition dating back to the early 1900s, Xenofontos-Methynaios Winery is a family-owned business now in its fourth generation, under the supervision of oenologist Christodoulos Xenofontos. The winery owns 15 hectares of vineyards and maintains stable partnerships with cooperating vineyards, ranging in age from 5 to 80 years. The total annual bottling does not exceed 5,000 bottles, ensuring the quality and expertise of the production.
The wines are primarily made from the indigenous Xynisteri variety for white wine, as well as rosé from Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, and red from Cabernet Sauvignon combined with the indigenous varieties Maratheftiko and Mavro Ambelissimo.
All wines are bottled in the small, just 45 sq.m. winery located in the heart of Kyperounta, which continues to blend tradition with modern winemaking, producing exceptional wines for the most discerning wine lovers.
