Two exceptional wines from the Spanish wine group Grandes Pagos Gallegos, exclusively represented in Cyprus by DrinkForLife Trading Ltd, have been awarded Bronze Medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious and internationally recognised wine competitions.

Awarded a Bronze Medal, Valdamor Albariño 2024 is an elegant and expressive white wine with a bright straw-yellow colour and delicate lemon highlights. It reveals captivating aromas of cherimoya, pineapple, melon, almond, white flowers and sage. On the palate, it is fresh, juicy and fruit-forward, with vibrant acidity, excellent balance and a long, refreshing finish.
Ponte da Boga – Pizarras y Esquistos Mencía Ribeira Sacra 2022
Also awarded a Bronze Medal, Pizarras y Esquistos Mencía Ribeira Sacra 2022 is a wine of distinctive character and remarkable complexity. Its aromatic profile combines notes of black fruits, herbs and spices with subtle smoky nuances. The palate is fresh and elegant, offering excellent structure, balance and a long, memorable finish.
